WIN A FREE TUITION TO SESSION 2 IN SYLVAN LAKE

Our third contest begins today and we are giving away a Free Tuition to Session 2 - July 10th to July 15th, 2011 at the Sylvan Lake Summer Hockey Camp.

All hockey players who are 7 years old to 16 years old are eligible to enter.  All you have to do is email your name, your age, the team you play for and your hometown to info@sylvanlakehockey.com before Friday February 4th at 6:00PM MST.  All entrants will go into a draw box and we will pull one winner and post it Friday night on this blog.

This morning it was -35 in Sylvan Lake so we hope it's nicer where you live and you travel safely to your hockey games and practices.

CONTEST WINNER

The winner in our "who has the best looking NHL uniforms" draw for a Sylvan Lake Summer Hockey Camp water bottle, Sylvan Lake Summer Goaltenders hat and Jasper Summer Hockey Camp hat is;

Kalem picked San Jose as the team with the best looking NHL uniforms and he was randomly selected from all of the entrants.  Congratulations Kalem and we will be announcing a new contest at the start of the week.

OUR FIRST WINNER - OUR FIRST WINNERS

We had such a super response to our first contest "Why I like to play hockey" that we couldn't pick just one winner from the unbelievable entries so we are giving away 2 free tuition's to Session 1 in Sylvan Lake, July 4th to July 9th, 2011.

FRIDAY JANUARY 28th WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT

Friday January 28th, 2011 we will be announcing the winner of our 1st contest.  The winner will receive a free tuition to Session 1 in Sylvan Lake which runs July 4th to July 9th, 2011.

2nd PRIZE EVENT BEGINS TODAY

We thought we would hold a quick draw while we are finalizing some bigger announcements for this upcoming summer. 

All hockey players ages 7 years old to 16 years old are invited to email us the NHL team that you think has the best looking uniforms.  There is no wrong answer and all entries will be put into a draw barrel and one winner will be picked Sunday January 30th, 2011.  Make sure to send your email before 6:00PM on Sunday January 30th, 2011 and we will notify and post the winner that night on this blog.

The prize pack this week is a Sylvan Lake Summer Hockey Camp water bottle, a Sylvan Lake Summer Goaltenders Hat and a Jasper Summer Hockey Camp Hat.

1st CONTEST CLOSED - WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT FRIDAY JAN 28th

Our first contest is officially closed and we will be going through the submissions this week.  We just want to thank all the kids that participated in the contest, there are some great submissions and we couldn't be happier with the response. 

The contest winner will be awarded a free tuition to Session 1 - July 4th to July 9th, 2011 and we will contact the winner at the end of week.  The winning player will be posted on this blog Friday Jan 28th, 2011.

A new contest is just around the corner and we hope to announce it shortly.

CONTEST - WIN A FREE WEEK IN SYLVAN LAKE

Today we are starting our first contest for a FREE WEEK to Session 1 in Sylvan Lake which runs Monday July 4th to Saturday July 9th, 2011.

The contest is for boys and girls, 7 years old to 16 years old and what you need to do is write in three or four sentences "Why you like to play hockey."

Email your answer to info@sylvanlakehockey.com and the last day to enter is Sunday January 23rd, 2011.

We will pick and post the winners name and home town on Friday January 28th, 2011.  So make sure you include your name, home town and your email so we can notify the winning entry.

Sylvan Lake/Jasper Summer Hockey Camp 2011

Welcome to the Sylvan Lake/Jasper Summer Hockey Camp Blog as we prepare for our 37th year.

Each summer we host over 1000 young hockey players and we offer 13 sessions to select from.
* 7 six day sessions in Sylvan Lake for boys and girls.
* 1 session for Women & Girls in Sylvan Lake
* 2 four day Goalie Camps for boys and girls in Sylvan Lake
* 1 four day Conditioning Camp for boys and girls in Sylvan Lake
* 2  six day sessions in Jasper for boys and girls

NEW FOR 2011 is our four day Conditioning Camp that runs Aug 19th to Aug 22nd, 2011.  The Conditioning Camp is a great opportunity to prepare for tryouts in the fall.
