Changes for 2012

We first want to thank everyone who attended the Sylvan Lake/Jasper Summer Hockey Camp, Sylvan Lake Goaltenders Camp, Sylvan Lake Conditioning Camp and the Sylvan Lake Women & Girls Camp.  We had a very successful summer and look forward to the summer of 2012.

Each year we look for changes to improve your hockey holiday experience and we've experimented with some and we are now in the process of finalizing all of the changes for the 2012 sessions.  As soon as the changes are set we will announce them on our website www.sylvanlakehockey.com and this blog.

We hope to have the changes ready by this fall and look forward to the Next Generation of Ultimate Hockey Holidays.  We think the changes we have in store for 2012 will make your Hockey Holiday even more enjoyable and we can't wait to share the changes with you.

CONTEST #6 Winner / WINNERS

Shannon Szabados returns as an Instructor for both Sylvan Lake Goalie Camps

We are excited to announce that Shannon Szabados will return as an instructor for both of our Goalie Camp sessions this summer.

Goalie Camp Session 1 - July 1 to July 4, 2011
Goalie Camp Session 2 - July 29 to Aug 1, 2011

Shannon led Team Canada to the Gold Medal at the Olympics in Vancouver and her experience along with her incredible relationship with our students makes our program better each year.  We could not be happier to have Shannon back this summer and to celebrate today's announcement we will be holding CONTEST #6.

and you will be entered in a draw for a Team Canada Jersey Autographed by Shannon.

We will accept all entries until Monday April 4th at 12:00PM and announce a winner at 6:00PM that night.

CONTEST #5 WINNERS

We had a huge response to Contest #5 with just under 100 entries and because of the popularity of the contest we decided to draw two free tuition's to Session 1, July 24th to July 29th, 2011 at the Jasper Summer Hockey Camp.

We are working hard on our programs for this summer and are finalizing announcements for Session 1 in Sylvan Lake and our Goalie Camp Sessions.  We should have exciting news about those sessions over the next few weeks and we will have a new contest which will kick off the start of March.

We hope you are having a good end to your season and congratulations to the teams that are still in the Provincial Play downs.  Make sure to play hard, play fair, make friends, learn, listen and most important of all have fun.

Contest #5 Begins Today

Today we are starting Contest #5.  Hockey players 7 years old to 16 years old are eligible and all you need to do is email your name and hockey team name to:

We will draw one winner and that hockey player will receive a free tuition to Session 1 in Jasper which takes place July 24th to July 29th, 2011 at the Jasper Summer Hockey Camp.  We will take entries until Sunday, February 27th at 6:00PM and a winner will be announced after supper.
